The subject of the research is interested in revealing the change in the functions of the Libyan family, through knowing the views of parents towards the socialization of children, especially in the face of the informational challenge that imposes multiple contexts and the extent to which the family maintains its role in protecting the cultural heritage despite this invasion that comes with the revolution of information and satellite channels. The research set out to answer a general question: To what extent is socialization a complex social process that is not limited to the family, but contributes to it along with it other channels and means. The research concluded that with the information and digital revolution, and satellite channels, there were gains for children's awareness, culture, and existence, as well as risks to their identities and awareness, as the challenges they face as a result of the collision between old and new culture, which leads to a cultural chasm that has social effects on children.
