Abstract

This study addresses the topic of meeting the needs of government institutions for graduates of the Business Administration Department at Al-Rifaq Private University. The field study was conducted at the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli, on Tareq Al-Sikka Street. Several questions were formulated to achieve the study’s objective, including: How can the department be supported to clarify modifications in the academic curriculum that align with the requirements of the National Oil Corporation?

A tailored questionnaire was adopted and developed to collect primary data related to the study topic. The study was divided into two parts: the first part dealt with the personal data of the respondents, while the second part focused on the study variables, containing two main axes—the independent variable related to the needs of government institutions, and the dependent variable concerning graduates of the Business Administration Department at Al-Rifaq University.

A comprehensive survey approach was used, targeting department managers, heads of divisions, and advisors at the corporation, with a sample size of 37 individuals.

After analyzing the primary data, several results were reached, the most important of which is that graduates’ time management skills contributed to increased satisfaction with the efficiency of Business Administration graduates from Al-Rifaq University.

Based on these results, a set of recommendations was made, the most important being the increased focus on developing the department’s curriculum, which would have a positive impact, particularly by including courses such as Time Management.
