This study focuses on clarifying the claims regarding the retreat or "erosion" of national state sovereignty, as well as the role globalization plays through its impact on culture, politics, and the economy. The researcher also aims to offer recommendations that could address or mitigate the risks and challenges posed by globalization.

The study reached several conclusions, the most significant of which is the state's inability to control the real decision-makers—namely, financial markets and giant multinational corporations that transcend national borders. Globalization, in its various forms and manifestations, contributes to the erosion of state authority and exposes its vulnerability to dominant global powers that control globalization trends, particularly in the economic domain.

Furthermore, the rise of global economic institutions replacing national ones, and the growing role of multinational corporations in managing economic activities—often based on philosophies and concepts that differ from the national identity of the state—were highlighted. The spread of liberal and libertarian values and ideas, which contradict the morals, values, and Islamic beliefs of many societies, also presents a significant challenge. Preserving these beliefs is one of the primary responsibilities of Islamic states.

The study recommends emphasizing the vital role of socialization institutions in instilling and supporting the cultural identity of each people in their minds and hearts. It also stresses the need to establish cultural immunity to counter the influence of modern mechanisms used by dominant states to erase non-Western cultural identities. Additionally, it highlights the importance of strengthening the status of the Arabic language among the members of the nation, as it is a fundamental element for the continuity of Arab culture. The Arabic language serves as the repository of the Arab-Islamic heritage, encompassing within it a wealth of experiences, thought, and meaning.
