الملخص

الملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مفهوم التنمية المستدامة وأهدافها. وتحليل دور الجامعات في تحقيق متطلبات التنمية المستدامة للأبعاد (الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والبيئي)، وتقديم توصيات لتحسين دور الجامعات في دعم التنمية المستدامة، حيث طُبِقت هذه الدراسة على عينة عشوائية بسيطة من داخل مجتمع الدراسة تقدر بحوالي 80 عضو هيئة تدريس موزعين بين كليات مختلفة من الجامعتين منهم حوالي 33 من الإناث و47 من الذكور، وقد تم توزيع استمارات الاستبيان على كافة أفراد العينة وتم استرجاع (76) استمارة، وبذلك تكون نسبة الاستبيانات الخاضعة للتحليل من إجمالي الاستبيانات الموزعة حوالي 95%. وقد تمثل التساؤل الرئيسي لهذه الدراسة في التساؤل التالي: ما هو دور الجامعات الليبية في تحقيق متطلبات التنمية المستدامة للأبعاد (الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والبيئي)، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحقيق هدف الدراسة. وتوصلت إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها أنه يوجد دور كبير للجامعات محل الدراسة في تعزيز التنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة، حيث جاءت جميع العبارات بدرجة أهمية قوية أو قوية جداً، مع دلالات معنوية مؤكدة. وتوصي الدراسة بأنه على الجامعات الاستمرار في تطوير وتوسيع برامجها الاقتصادية التي تساهم في خلق فرص عمل، دعم الابتكار، وتعزيز التفاعل مع السوق المحلي. من المهم أيضاً تعزيز التعاون مع الشركات المحلية والمشاريع الصغيرة لتوفير فرص تدريب وتوظيف للطلاب.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to identify the concept of sustainable development and its goals. And to analyze the role of universities in achieving the requirements of sustainable development for the dimensions (economic, social and environmental), and to provide recommendations to improve the role of universities in supporting sustainable development. This study was applied to a simple random sample from within the study population estimated at about 80 faculty members distributed among different colleges of the two universities, including about 33 females and 47 males. The questionnaire forms were distributed to all members of the sample and (76) forms were retrieved, thus the percentage of questionnaires subject to analysis is out of the total questionnaires. Distribution is about 95%. The main question of this study was represented in the following question: What is the role of Libyan universities in achieving the requirements of sustainable development in the dimensions (economic, social and environmental), and the study used the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the goal of the study. It reached a set of results, the most important of which is that there is a major role for the universities under study in promoting sustainable economic development, as all statements came with a strong or very strong degree of importance, with definite moral connotations. The study recommends that universities should continue to develop and expand their economic programs that contribute to creating job opportunities, supporting innovation, and enhancing interaction with the local market. It is also important to strengthen cooperation with local companies and small projects to provide training and employment opportunities for students.
